JOBSeekers JAM is designed to support and encourage you in your job search efforts. We are guided by the principles found in Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.” This verse is saying that we need to involve God in all areas of our lives including our job search activities. It is our goal to help prepare you to put your best self forward in your job search, but also how to involve God in the process.
Who can attend JAM? JAM is available to anyone. You do not have to be a member or attend TCABC to come. Please feel free to pass this information to anyone that you know that is in the process of making a career transition.
What are JAMSessions? JAMSessions include a large group session with the focus being encouragement and four breakout sessions that deal with specific areas of interest in the job search process. The breakout sessions focus on resume writing or updating, networking, interviewing skills and how to develop goals/ plans for your life and career. |
